Congratulations to GJSD junior student-musician Mariia Ganzharina, who was selected as one of 22 local students to participate in a “Side-by-Side” concert with the Capital Region Wind Ensemble that will feature internationally renowned trumpet soloist, Ashley Hall-Tighe. Mariia will play the bassoon in the concert.
The show will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 6 in the Carl B. Taylor Community Auditorium at SUNY Schenectady County Community College. Tickets are available at the door and are $10 for adults; $8 for students with ID, and $5 for kids under 10.
